Praises for Keepin’ It RealSM Programs for Teens

“Jackie Hardrick’s Keepin’ It RealSM Program was a huge success. My students enjoyed every minute of interaction with her discussing the issues in her novel. Ms. Hardrick’s novels and Keepin’ It RealSMProgram have a power that is undeniable. They have been a force for good in our school, and I believe that they will be a force for good in any school.” – Raymond Page, St. Anthony HS, Jersey City, NJ

“I thank you for the wonderful Program. Your Keepin’ it RealSM Program was motivational and inspiring! Our students at PS 27 loved it! We look forward to working with you again.” – Karen Ector, WPU/NJ After 3, Paterson, NJ

“My students became excited when they found out they would meet Jackie Hardrick after reading Imani in Young Love & Deception. During the Keepin’ It RealSM Program, Ms. Hardrick presented Avon student & faculty with realistic statistics of the effects of promiscuity. My students were real involved in the discussions and they asked thought-provoking questions. The Keepin’ It Real Program was a great success!” – Ms. Blaise, 7th grade, Avon Ave. School, Newark, NJ

“The time Jackie Hardrick spent with our students was of great value. Her Keepin’ It RealSM Program is passionate, interactive, and positive. Students could easily identify with her topics of discussion as well as the characters in her novels. Ms. Hardrick brought these issues to real life. She encouraged the students to understand the importance of goal setting, respecting self and others, and making good choices. She made an impact on our students by relating to them and giving them the opportunity to think about the decisions in their lives. Students and teachers talked about her Program for many days.” – Jan Wilson, South Gwinnett High School, Georgia

“Students are STILL talking about Ms. Hardrick and they loved her Keepin’ It RealSM Program! Ms. Hardrick is our most popular author. Our “holds” list is a mile long for both of her books. So it was absolutely phenomenal to have her come and speak to our students. She can relate to students on their level by “keeping it real.” She delivers a real message and is such a great role model for students.” – Page Wiedeman, Brookwood High School, Georgia
